Our Story

Altrichia became obsessed with making ruffle socks for her daughter to compliment every outfit! As a Fashion Designer, she wanted to make everyday a runway experience dressing up Ashlyn! With a desire to establish generational wealth for her daughter while providing a seamless way for busy moms to dress up any occasion, she began working to establish Meena Sox!  

When Ashlyn was born, just hours after entering the world, Altrichia remembers speaking life to her baby girl. Her words of affirmations on October 25, 2020 consisted of you are powerful, you are brave, you are a leader, and you will change the world. 

Daily, Altrichia and Ashlyn recite  affirmations. Becoming a new mom after 14 years, she developed a love for ultra-soft bamboo products for her daughter. Uploading videos of Ashlyn and Altrichia reciting daily affirmations and receiving so many comments and messages about how other moms have adopted the affirmations to recite with their daughters, she had an epiphany to launch Ashlyn’s very own line of bamboo pajamas, exclusively designed with affirmations. #MeenaJammies 

After that, Altrichia dug deeper and felt that designing apparel for babies would remind everyone around them to not speak life to and around them, while affirming their greatness! MeenaFits are exclusive hand-sewn bummy shorts and onesies that speak all things positivity!  

Although babies cannot talk, my vision is to ensure that they wear a big message through their outfits!  My hope is that the Meena Brand will sow seeds of greatness into the hearts of moms and dads so that they can in turn, speak intentionally into the lives of their baby girls! – Altrichia Wilcox
